Orange steak with broccoli and tagliatelle

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 500 g tagliatelle, thin
  • Water (salt water)
  • 500 ml instant broth
  • 4 beef steaks (160 g each)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml orange juice
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 tsp sauce thickener

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Clean the broccoli and spring onions, rinse, and cut into florets or rings. Cook the pasta in salted water, drain, and let it drain. Blanch the broccoli in the broth for 5 minutes, drain, and let it drain. Rinse the steaks, pat dry, and fry in hot oil for 3-5 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper, and keep warm. Sauté the spring onions in the frying fat, deglaze with orange juice. Add mustard, cream, salt, and pepper, and thicken with a sauce thickener. Serve the pasta with the steaks, vegetables, and sauce.
