Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 180 g dark chocolate
  • 180 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 75 g sugar
  • 40 g flour
  • possibly ice cream or vanilla sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Chocolate muffin with a liquid center

Preheat the oven to 230°C (top/bottom heat). Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler and transfer to a bowl. Combine the 2 whole eggs, 2 egg yolks, 75g sugar, and 40g flour with a mixer. Blend the chocolate-butter mixture with the egg-sugar-flour mixture. Pour the mixture into six soufflé dishes or muffin tins and place in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes at 230°C. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or vanilla sauce, as desired.
