Pink angel kisses – ideal as a gift!

Beat the egg whites with the food coloring and lemon juice until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the sugar. Finely chop the cranberries. Carefully fold the lemon zest and berries into the egg mixture. Using two teaspoons, place small, decorative mounds onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Leave a little space as they will rise slightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 130°C (120°C fan-assisted oven) for about 40 to 50 minutes. Make sure they are cooked through on the inside but not browned on the outside! A dream in rosé, which I love to gift wrapped in cellophane bags.
