Carrot vegetables with potatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 potatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 3 tbsp applesauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into equal-sized pieces. Peel the carrots and slice them into fairly thin slices. Cook everything together with a little water and 1 teaspoon of salt for about 20 minutes. When the potatoes and carrots are tender, add 3-4 tablespoons of applesauce (to taste). Then mash everything together with a masher. This goes well with meatballs, bratwurst, etc. If you like it spicier, you can, of course, add a little more salt.
