Crispy vanilla waffles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter, soft
  • 60 g sugar, preferably homemade vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar, if you don’t use homemade
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 2 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 250 ml milk
  • Fat for the waffle iron
  • Powdered sugar and vanilla sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Beat the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Combine the flour, cornstarch, and baking powder and gradually stir in. Finally, stir in the milk. Preheat and grease the waffle iron, and bake the batter in batches until golden brown. Dust the waffles with a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
