Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 170 g potatoes, net
  • 140 g kohlrabi, net
  • 80 g turnips, net
  • 160 g pollack fillet(s) with crispy breading, frozen
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs, frozen
  • Salt
  • Pepper, from the mill
  • 5 g rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Pollock fillet with coarse potato, kohlrabi, and turnip mash

Cut the potatoes, kohlrabi, and turnips into small cubes. Place everything in a pot of salted water, bring to a boil briefly, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 18 minutes. Drain all but a small amount of the cooking water in the pot, add the sour cream and herbs, and roughly mash the vegetables. Season to taste. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and cook the fish according to the package instructions. Arrange the vegetable mash with the pollock on a plate.
