Funeral feast with residents

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (black or orange spaghetti)
  • 300 g crabs or prawns, peeled
  • 1 can/n tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 50 ml white wine
  • 1 slice(s) bacon
  • 1 bunch of fresh herbs (oregano, thyme, basil… depending on your taste)
  • ½ carrot(s) (finely grated)
  • some onion(s) (silver onions), for decoration
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • some peppercorns
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Also suitable for normal occasions

Heat the olive oil and briefly fry the chopped onions, grated carrots, and chopped bacon. Then briefly add the shrimp/prawns. Deglaze with wine and add the passata. Then add the freshly chopped herbs and let them simmer slightly. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and chili powder, if desired. Meanwhile, the spaghetti should be cooked according to the instructions. Arrange everything nicely on the plates and top with the pearl onions, each with a large peppercorn pressed into it.
