Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slices of Leberkäse
- 4 tomatoes
- 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Place the Leberkäse in a shallow, ovenproof dish or on a baking sheet. Peel and slice the tomatoes, and arrange them on top. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cut the Gouda slices into strips and arrange them in a lattice pattern. Bake for about 10 minutes at 180°C (160°C fan oven) until the cheese melts, or grill briefly. Serve with mashed potatoes and a green salad.
