Meatballs with cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 slices of white bread
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 garlic clove(s), chopped
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Soak white bread in water and squeeze out excess moisture. Knead with minced meat, chopped onion, garlic, finely crumbled feta cheese, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and egg. Let stand briefly. Form into balls and fry on all sides in hot oil. Serve with a farmer’s salad and white bread.
