Delicious meatballs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 stale roll
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • salt and pepper
  • breadcrumbs
  • Butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Soak the rolls in water for about 3 hours. Then squeeze the water out of the rolls (it’s best to hold them in your hand) and place the rolls and meat in a bowl with the onion, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic. Knead well with your hands. Form them into small balls (the number can vary greatly depending on how big you make them!). Coat the frikos in breadcrumbs. Melt butter in a pan, then add the meatballs and fry well. Done. You can make these frikos with more or less onion, or even without it. Garlic isn’t necessary either.
