Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg turkey thigh(s)
  • 1 tbsp, heaped rosemary, dried
  • 1 tbsp, heaped thyme, dried
  • 1 tbsp, heaped marjoram, dried
  • tbsp olive oil

  • 1 shot of white wine or broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 13 minutes

simply

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Meanwhile, wash the turkey thigh and pat dry with kitchen paper. Generously season all sides with salt and pepper and rub with the dried herbs. Drizzle with a little olive oil. Place the thigh in a baking dish and roast on the middle rack of the preheated oven for 2 hours. After about half an hour, pour the wine or broth into the baking dish to prevent the fat from splashing. I like to eat this leg low-carb, but it also goes well with any side dishes, such as fried potatoes or fries.
