Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g lamb fillet(s)
  • 10 g sesame
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek or chili sauce
  • Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp oil or margarine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 25 minutes

Marinate the lamb fillets in the soy sauce and sambal oelek mixture 1-3 hours before cooking. Season the marinade with garam masala. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan without oil until the seeds are lightly browned and begin to smell. Transfer the sesame seeds to a pan. Add oil to the pan and sear the lamb fillets in the marinade for 2 minutes on each side. Then sprinkle the fillets with sesame seeds and let them rest for 10 minutes (or better yet, just leave them in the pan) in a preheated oven at 130°C (fan).
