Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 400 g fish (herring fillet “Feine Sahne”)
- 300 g matjes fillet(s), Nordic style or with herbs
- 1 small onion(s)
- 2 eggs
- ½ apple
- 2 gherkins
- 1 tbsp cucumber juice
- ¼ liter of milk
- n. B. Dill
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Hard-boil and peel the eggs. Drain the oil from the herring fillet. Cut the herring and herring fillet into bite-sized pieces, and dice the onion, apple, gherkins, and eggs. Mix everything together and add a little dill, pickle juice, and milk. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a while. Serve with boiled potatoes.
