Chicken gyro pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g chicken gyro meat, shredded
  • 2 peppers
  • 100 ml cream
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 150 g feta cheese
  • Thyme
  • rosemary
  • marjoram
  • 125 g rice
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, cut the bell peppers into small strips and the feta into small cubes. Then, bring a pot of water to a boil for the rice. When the water boils, add a little salt and cook the rice according to the package instructions. Heat a little oil in a large pan and fry the strips. Then add the bell pepper strips and fry them. Now add the cream and sour cream to the pan. Simmer briefly until it reaches the desired consistency. Then, add half of the feta cheese to the sauce and season with thyme, rosemary, and marjoram. Serve everything on plates and garnish with the remaining feta cubes.
