Vegetable rice pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup rice (alternatively one bag of rice)
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 small mushrooms
  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 2 turkey breast fillets or turkey schnitzel
  • 1 tbsp flour, heaped
  • some chili from the mill
  • Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook rice according to the package instructions. Trim the carrots, mushrooms, and bell peppers and cut into thin strips. Trim the leeks and slice into rings. Place everything in a sieve and wash thoroughly. Cut the turkey into strips. Pour the soy sauce into a deep plate and add the meat. Heat the oil in a pan and lightly brown the meat with the soy sauce, rubbing the flour over the meat. Add the vegetables, water, and stock and simmer everything with the pan covered for about 10 minutes to allow the vegetables to cook. Add the rice and simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes. Season with a little chili, if desired, and serve.
