Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g black pudding (rotwurst) from the refrigerated section
- 500 g pasta
- salt water
- 2 tsp mustard, medium hot (Bautz’ner)
- 2 tbsp ketchup (spiced ketchup)
- 2 large onions
- 2 cloves garlic or some garlic garnish
- Oil for frying
- curry powder
- Paprika powder, sweet
- salt and pepper
- rosemary
- Thyme
- 1 tsp honey, approx.

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
my family’s favorite dish
Cook the pasta in salted water as usual. In the meantime, dice the onions, garlic, and black pudding. Fry the onions and garlic in a pan with a little oil, add the black pudding, and let it melt. Season the onion and black pudding mixture with mustard and ketchup. Season the mixture with curry, paprika, pepper, rosemary, and thyme, adding a little salt if desired. For a more rounded flavor, add about 1 teaspoon of honey. Stir everything well and let it simmer briefly until the pasta is done. Drain the pasta and toss it with the sauce. Let it simmer briefly in the pot and serve.
