Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 cup(s) rice
- 2 onions
- Salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 250 g ham, cooked
- 2 apples
- 2 bananas
- 2 gherkins
- 1 bell pepper(s), green
- 1 bell pepper(s), red
- ½ jar of mayonnaise (salad mayonnaise)
- ½ cup(s) milk
- Vinegar
- salt and pepper
- Sugar
- 1 can/n tangerine(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the rice in salted water according to the package instructions. Dice the onions and sauté them in oil until lightly browned. Sprinkle the curry powder over the sautéed onions and sauté briefly. Mix the onions into the rice. Finely chop the apples, bananas, gherkins, ham, and bell peppers and add them. Mix in the salad mayonnaise and milk. Season with vinegar, a pinch of sugar, salt, and pepper. It also tastes good with a can of mandarin oranges.
