Fish fillet with nut and cheese crust

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g fish fillet(s), possibly redfish, pollock, cod
  • Lemon juice, for drizzling
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • Fat for the mold
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 50 g grated cheese (Emmental, Gruyère or Edam)
  • 3 tbsp sour cream or crème fraîche
  • some sherry, dry
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

gratinated fish with a spicy crust – easy to prepare

Clean the fish fillet, season with salt, and place it in a greased baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients into a paste, season to taste, and brush the fish fillet with the mixture. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 30-40 minutes. Serve with potatoes or rice and a fresh salad.
