Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste
  • ½ bottle of tomato ketchup
  • 1 dashes spice ketchup (curry spice ketchup)
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 small can of peas
  • ½ cup cream
  • some ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the onion, halve the garlic clove, and fry both in hot oil. Add the ground beef and fry until lightly browned, then season with salt and pepper. Add the tomato paste and fry until lightly browned. Pour in about 300 ml of water and add the oregano and vegetable stock. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 10-15 minutes to allow the ground beef to soften a bit. This isn’t necessary if you’re in a hurry. Add half a bottle of tomato ketchup, the remaining water, and a dash of curry ketchup—this adds a special touch. Garnish with cream, peas, or ham, if desired. Serve with fresh Parmesan cheese.
