Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) sandwich toast (American sandwich)
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 75 g arugula
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Party and picnic snack

Cut the crust off the slices of toast, then roll them out with a rolling pin. Combine butter, honey, and freshly ground pepper and spread on the slices. Arrange the arugula leaves on top, roll up the slices, and wrap tightly in aluminum foil. Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Tip: If desired, season the butter mixture with coarse sea salt.
