Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g hazelnuts, grated, roasted in the oven at 150°
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g breadcrumbs, possibly black breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- Milk, hot, amount as required

simple and very juicy filling
Mix the ground hazelnuts, sugar, breadcrumbs, cocoa powder, and cinnamon thoroughly. Gradually add the boiling milk until a spreadable mixture forms. The nut mixture can be quite soft at first, as the breadcrumbs will absorb a lot of the liquid. Let it cool and, if desired, refine it with a dash of rum. You can also mix hazelnuts, almonds, and walnuts. Using walnuts alone is not recommended; they produce a very intense flavor. Almonds alone produce a very fine filling. This amount of nut filling is enough for one large braid made from 1/2 kg of flour.
