Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 ml water
  • 150 g brown rice
  • 1 handful of raisins
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • butter
  • cinnamon sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Bring the water to a boil in a pot and add the cinnamon and sugar. Stir in the rice and raisins, stirring constantly to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom. Cover the pot and simmer gently on low heat for 25-30 minutes. Season the rice with butter and cinnamon sugar and serve. Tip: The rice tastes best when you let it cool first and then briefly fry it in butter.
