Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
vegan, vegetarian, sugar-free
Wash the millet if necessary. Mash the banana with a fork. Grate the apple into small pieces (please do not cut it, the taste will not be the same). Halve the lemon to squeeze out the juice later. Boil the millet with water in a ratio of 1:2, or 1:2.5 for some types of millet, until the water has completely evaporated. Then reduce the heat to low and add the previously mashed banana and grated apple, and simmer for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Then add a little cinnamon powder and fresh lemon juice (careful not to add too much, otherwise it will become sour), and cook for about another minute. Tips: If you like, you can add a spoonful of coconut oil after the water has boiled. This gives the dish a creamy flavor. I have also used almond milk instead of water, which is very tasty. You can add other fruits instead of the apples, or simply in addition to them. Blueberries, apricots, nectarines, or pears taste quite good. Strawberries and similar fruits, which are very acidic, are not suitable. I sometimes top with coconut flakes or homemade chocolate spread. About 550 kcal per serving.
