Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 100 g zucchini
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear(s)
  • 2 carnations
  • ½ vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp flavoring (orange sugar)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • 150 g low-fat curd cheese
  • e.g. syrup or honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Finely grate the carrot and zucchini. Peel and finely dice the apple and pear. Simmer with the cloves, vanilla bean, cinnamon, orange sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water over medium heat for about 15 minutes with the lid on, until the mixture becomes a mushy consistency. Set aside and let cool. Remove the cloves and vanilla bean. Whip the cream until stiff and mix with the quark. Sweeten with syrup or honey, if desired. Layer the quark and compote alternately in dessert glasses.
