Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g cooked ham
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 200 g peas
  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 200 g pickled gherkins
  • 4 eggs
  • 700 g mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 tbsp parsley, fresh chopped
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinch(s) pepper, freshly ground
  • n. B. pepper(s), cut into strips

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 45 minutes

Delicatessen salad

Cook the carrots, peas, potatoes, and 4 eggs until tender and let cool. Cut everything into small cubes, and repeat with the cooked ham and pickles. Mix all ingredients with the mayonnaise. Serve the Russian salad in a beautiful bowl and garnish with strips of bell pepper. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
