Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 125 g spelt, finely ground
- ½ sachet of baking powder
- 1 egg(s)
- 100 g brown sugar
- 1 tsp flavoring (vanilla flavor)
- 125 ml milk
- 125 ml cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Mix the spelt flour with the baking powder. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix everything into a smooth dough. Let it rest for a moment, while the whole grain absorbs more liquid. If the batter is too thick, add a little more milk. Now bake the batter in the waffle iron. If you like, you can spread the waffles with applesauce or other ingredients, or sprinkle them with powdered sugar in the classic way.
