Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 100g bacon
  • 1 pack of Hollandaise sauce, light
  • 2 onions
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 3 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. Oil

First, slice the onions. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat, add the sugar, and let it caramelize slightly. Then add the sliced ​​onions and sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, and season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, heat oil in one or two additional pans (if desired) and fry two slices of bacon and a fried egg for each burger. Season the fried egg with salt and pepper. Heat the buns in the oven for about 5 minutes at 100°C (212°F) top/bottom heat. Gently heat the hollandaise sauce in the microwave or a saucepan, being careful not to clump. Remove the buns from the oven, halve them if desired, and spread the hollandaise sauce on both halves. Layer the burgers as follows: first the sautéed onions, then the fried egg, and finally the bacon. Tip: For a more balanced meal, serve a mixed salad on the side.
