Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 190 g short grain rice
- 240 ml carrot juice
- 120 ml vegetable stock
- 2 tbsp cheese, grated
- possibly salt
- some olives, black
- 1 piece(s) cucumber(s), peel thereof

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Savory treats for Halloween
Cook the rice in the carrot juice and vegetable broth mixture uncovered over low heat according to the package instructions for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. The liquid should be completely absorbed or evaporated. Stir in the grated cheese and season with salt, if necessary. Let the mixture cool slightly. With moistened hands, form the rice into balls. Cut eyes and mouths out of the olives, and the stem out of the thickly sliced cucumber skin. Gently press the pieces into the rice balls.
