Cucumbers filled with quark

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cucumbers
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 bell peppers, red and green
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • n. B. Herbs (garden herbs)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

light starter

Wash, peel, halve, and remove the seeds from the cucumbers. Blend the quark with the cream until creamy. Finely chop the onions, garlic, bell peppers, and carrots and fold in. Season well with salt, pepper, and mustard. Fill the hollowed-out cucumbers with the mixture and cut into pieces. Sprinkle with the herbs. The filling also goes well with tomatoes. This is a basic recipe. I personally use more garlic. The mustard should be used sparingly, otherwise it will be too overpowering.
