  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium or hot
  • 2 tbsp vinegar, light, possibly white balsamic vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

  • Milk as needed
  • Salt
  • pepper, black
  • Sugar
  • lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Since I couldn’t find a recipe for Sylt salad dressing, I mixed it myself, and the result is very similar to the original. Chop the onion as finely as possible, mince the garlic, and mix both with yogurt, mustard, sour cream, olive oil, vinegar, and dill. Whisk the dressing until well combined. If the dressing is too thick, thin with milk as needed. Season to taste with salt, pepper, sugar, and lemon juice.
