Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
quick, spicy sauce or side dish
Peel the onion and finely dice. Peel and press the garlic. Sauté both in a little hot olive oil. Add the beans, sesame paste, olive oil, and vegetable stock. Simmer everything for a few minutes. Add salt, pepper, and a pinch of cumin, and puree everything with a hand blender. Depending on your taste, you can either chop the savory and puree it, or add it as a sprig and remove it before pureeing. If the consistency is too thick, add the rest of the vegetable stock or more olive oil. Finally, season to taste with salt, pepper, and cumin. We like to eat this puree with pasta. We then sprinkle the pasta with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and basil leaves. It can also be used as a filling for tacos or as a side dish.
