Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 point fish fillet(s) (matjes or herring matjes style)
- 1 m.-large gherkin(s)
- ¼ apple
- ¼ bell pepper(s), green
- 1 m.-large leek(s)
- 1 dashes vinegar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 10 minutes
as a sandwich topping or for snacking
Cut all ingredients into bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl. Add the oil from the fish fillet and a splash of vinegar (or a little more to taste). Let the mixture sit in the refrigerator for at least half a day before serving to allow the full flavor to develop.
