Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 beefsteak tomatoes
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 5 leaves of fresh basil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
After washing, thinly slice the tomatoes and arrange them on the plate, alternating with the thinly sliced cheese. Sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper, drizzle with vinegar and olive oil, and bake in the oven (grill or top heat) for about 5 minutes. Cut the freshly picked basil leaves into coarse strips and scatter over the top before serving. Serve with fresh baguette.
