Banana and cherry salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 500 g cherries
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp rum
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 50 g almonds (flaked almonds)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Peel and slice the bananas. Wash and pit the cherries, and mix with the bananas. Mix the lemon juice, rum, and honey and pour over the fruit. Let it chill slightly in the refrigerator. Before serving, divide the fruit into serving bowls and sprinkle with flaked almonds. Vanilla ice cream goes well with the fruit.
