Wholemeal spelt bread with seeds in the BBA

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar or honey
  • 30 g butter
  • 350 ml water
  • 3 g dry yeast
  • 90 g mixed seeds (sunflower seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds)
  • 1 tsp bread spice mix

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours 30 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 45 minutes

Note: I have a new BBA (Panasonic SD-ZB2512KXE) and this was the first bread I baked in it. It comes with a special spoon for dried yeast and the recipe calls for 1 1/4 of the spoonful. I think it’s 3-4 g. With my BBA, the dry ingredients go into the baking tin first and then the water. It’s best to do it as the manufacturer of your BBA specifies. Then set a program for wholemeal bread. Makes a loaf of approx. 700-800 g. I wish you much success and bon appetit.
