Feta cheese in aluminum foil

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • ½ onion(s), sliced
  • Tomato(s), sliced
  • ½ clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs (thyme or basil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

for the oven or grill

Place a few slices of onion and tomato in the center of a large piece of aluminum foil. Then place the feta cheese on top of the tomato and onion. Add a few more onion rings, tomato slices, and garlic on top. Drizzle a little olive oil over it and season with salt, pepper, and the herbs. Fold the aluminum foil over so that the package is well sealed. Now the whole thing can be placed in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes, or simply placed on the hot grill for the same amount of time. Baguette goes well with it. Tip: When it’s done, I like to sprinkle some fresh chives on top.
