Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 ml cream
  • 20 g tomato paste
  • 1 cl Metaxa
  • 100 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Heat the cream with tomato paste and Metaxa sauce while stirring. Add the cheese and let it melt. Tip: If desired, mix the cream with milk, but then thicken. Directions: Brown the gyros with onions, place in small casserole dishes (depending on the portion), and pour over the Metaxa sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10-15 minutes. Then serve with fries and fresh salad, and it tastes just like a Greek meal.
