Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 jar tomatoes, dried in oil
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- salt and pepper
- some chili powder, if desired
- possibly vegetable oil, if required
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Place the tomatoes and oil from the jar into a blender. Add the egg yolk, mustard, honey, salt, pepper, and perhaps a pinch of chili to the blender. Blend everything together with an immersion blender on high. If it’s too thick, you can add more vegetable oil. This mayonnaise tastes great with potatoes, but also with fish and meat.
