Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g asparagus, green
- some oil or butter, then not vegan
- 2 tsp almonds, ground
- Salt

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Trim the woody ends of the green asparagus and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Fry the pieces in hot oil or fat for a few minutes and season with salt. Sprinkle with almonds and toss everything together again. Taste to see if they’re cooked through and enjoy. This dish is ideal as a side dish, between courses, or as a small appetizer. It would certainly work with other nuts as well.
