Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g low-fat curd cheese
- 200 g almonds, grated
- 6 medium egg whites (use egg yolks for other purposes)
- 250 g strawberries
- 100 g protein powder, e.g. with strawberry flavor
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Low in calories and high in protein, a healthy snack
First, place the egg whites in a large bowl and mix well with the low-fat quark, the ground almonds, and the egg white powder. Cut the strawberries into small pieces and mix them into the mixture. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Place baking paper on a baking tray and place a baking frame (or, if you don’t have one, a similar rectangular one) on the baking tray for filling. Pour in the mixture and bake for about 40 minutes, until nicely browned. Then let it cool and cut into rectangular pieces as desired. If you like, you can also make the chocolate version using chocolate-flavored egg white powder and melted cooking chocolate as a glaze. However, it will then be less low in calories.
