Tea with ginger and soy milk

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 piece(s) ginger, approx. 1 cm
  • ½ liter of water
  • 2 tea bags, black
  • 200 ml soy milk (soy drink)
  • n. B. sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes

Peel and finely chop the ginger. Bring the water and ginger to a boil in a pot. Cover and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Add the tea bags and steep for another 5 minutes on the lowest heat (with the lid on). Then add the soy milk and steep for another 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and strain the tea into glasses or cups. Sweeten to taste.
