COVERAGE

  • 3 Glasses Cherries

Scattered dough

  • 250 g Sugar
  • 300 g Spelled flour 630
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 250 g Soft butter
  • 1 packet Custard powder
  • 1 packet Vanilin sugar
  • 0,25 packet Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt
  1. No ordinary sprinkles are made here
  2. You will need: kitchen scales, hand mixer, blender, dough spoon, teaspoon, large mixing bowl and a piece of baking paper to grease the baking sheet.
  3. Start by adding the sugar, cottage cheese, eggs, and baking powder to a mixing bowl.
  4. Mix everything with the hand mixer.
  5. Now you add the oil and flour.
  6. Mix everything together again.
  7. Pour the cherries into a kitchen strainer and let them drain well.
  8. Use the piece of baking paper to take some butter and grease the baking sheet with it.
  9. Now you pour the dough onto the baking sheet.
  10. Use the dough spoon to distribute the dough evenly on the baking sheet.
  11. Next, distribute the cherries evenly on the dough.
  12. Now preheat the oven to top / bottom heat 180 degrees.
  13. Then you wash off the mixing bowl, mixing sticks and dough spoons, as these are needed for making the crumble dough.
  14. Put sugar, flour, egg, softened butter, vanilla pudding powder, vanilin sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in the mixing bowl.
  15. Mix all ingredients well. Note: there is NO real crumble, but a dough that is intended!
  16. Now always take a small amount of dough in your hand and tear off a piece of dough and press it flat in your fingers.
  17. Then place the dough pieces on the baking sheet until all of the crumble dough is distributed.
  18. Slide the baking sheet into the middle rail of the oven and bake the cherry cake for about 35 – 40 minutes. Note: the crumble dough hardens a little when it cools, so you don’t have to bake the cherry cake completely crispy.
  19. Let the cherry cake cool down a little before consuming.
  20. I wish you good appetite 🙂 Tips: – Put 2-3 teaspoons of real cocoa powder (no Nesquik) in the batter – you can also use fresh plums instead of cherries.
