Easy and quick – sauce for pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 thick tomato(s),
  • ½ can of corn
  • 15 olives
  • 3 tbsp tomatoes, dried, chopped
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • 3 tbsp basil, freshly chopped
  • Salt and pepper, pepper, sugar, dried oregano……
  • Sugar
  • Oregano, dried
  • 200 g pasta, e.g. fusilli, girandole or spaghetti
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Boil the pasta water. Finely chop the onion and sauté in a little olive oil. Roughly chop the tomato and add it. Chop the olives and add them to the pot along with the corn. Fry for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, then add a little water. Add the pasta to the now-boiling, salted water and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. When the sauce returns to a boil, add the tomato paste and season generously with salt, pepper, sugar, and oregano. Cook for another 3-4 minutes. Finally, stir in the sour cream and basil, season to taste, and serve with the pasta!
