Cucumber vegetables with dill

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp broth, granulated (instant)
  • 125 ml sour cream
  • 2 tbsp dill, dried
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, peel and roughly dice the onion. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the diced onion. Quickly peel the cucumber, cut it in half lengthwise, and scrape out the seeds with a teaspoon. Then cut the halves lengthwise again and roughly dice the cucumber quarters. Add the diced cucumber to the pan and brown briefly. Add the instant broth, sour cream, dill, and sugar to the pan, mix well, and reduce the heat. Add lemon juice and simmer on low heat for a few minutes. This cucumber dish goes well with fried fish and mashed potatoes.
