Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 300 g spaetzle
- 150 g cheese, grated
- Marjoram, shredded
- 150 ml milk
- 100 g cream
- 400 g cherry tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- Nutmeg, grated
- 4 eggs
- Fat, for the shape
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Cook the spaetzle according to the package instructions until al dente and drain well. Whisk together the marjoram, milk, cream, eggs, and two-thirds of the cheese. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Wash and halve the tomatoes. Place the spaetzle in a well-greased dish and spread the cheese, eggs, and milk over the top. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C) for 10 minutes. Top the spaetzle pizza with tomato halves and the remaining cheese and bake at the same temperature for another 15-20 minutes. This pizza is perfect as a light evening meal.
