Wild garlic cheese dumplings

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g quark
  • 200 g cheese, grated Emmental
  • 160 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of turmeric
  • 1 bunch wild garlic, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix all the ingredients together. Using two tablespoons, scoop out the dumplings and add them to boiling salted water. The dumplings are cooked after about 10-15 minutes, when they rise to the surface. Drain and serve. I like the dumplings best when fried in butter. This is optional. If you don’t have wild garlic, you can also use parsley. I prefer to serve them with pork loin.
