Apple Crumble with Raisins

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g wheat flour or whole wheat flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 3 large apples, e.g. Boskop
  • e.g. raisins
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Simple and fast

Melt the butter in a saucepan/microwave and let it cool. Combine the flour, sugar, and cinnamon and knead with the cooled butter using a hand mixer until crumbly. Grease a medium-sized baking dish. Peel, core, and slice the apples, and arrange/layer them in the greased baking dish. Sprinkle with raisins, if desired, and cover evenly with the crumbles. Bake in a preheated oven (200°C/400°F) for about 25 minutes. Tip: Especially delicious served warm with vanilla sauce or ice cream.
