Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g potatoes, smaller, floury
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp, leveled paprika powder
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, size to taste
  • 2 tbsp, heaped chives and/or parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • n. B. Caraway

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Boil the potatoes in their jackets for 20-25 minutes, depending on their size. Peel and let cool slightly. Mash very finely with a fork and mix in the butter. Peel and finely dice the onion, and mix it with the crushed garlic, paprika, caraway, and chives. Stir the sour cream into the potatoes until spreadable. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper, refrigerate, and let stand for at least 30 minutes.
