Spicy paprika sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g bell pepper(s), red
  • 250 g bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 100 g onion(s), diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 ½ tbsp paprika powder, rose hot
  • ¼ liter broth

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Super tasty as a sauce for schnitzel or chicken breast

Clean the bell peppers. Dice 200g red and 100g yellow bell peppers and sauté them with the diced onion in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the tomato paste, ketchup, 1 tablespoon of paprika, and the broth, and simmer for 10 minutes. Then puree with a hand blender. Now cut 100g red and 150g yellow bell peppers into short, thin strips and sauté in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add 1/2 tablespoon of paprika and cook the vegetables for about 5 minutes until soft. Finally, add the bell pepper strips to the sauce and serve hot.
