Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 500 g quark
- 200 ml cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 jar cherry(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Mix the quark with 100 ml of cream, sugar, and vanilla sugar. Strain the cherries. Using a tablespoon, layer the quark mixture and cherries (reserve a few for decoration) alternately in dessert glasses. Whip the remaining cream with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form and transfer to a piping bag. Serve the dessert garnished with cream and the reserved cherries, if desired. Tip: This recipe can also be adapted for a Black Forest cup. To do this, mix half of the quark mixture with 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Then layer the white quark mixture, cherries, and brown quark mixture alternately in the dessert glasses.
